Top injector orings the ones the nipple cups go into and there are two small plugs on the top of the oil rail, one on each side. What made you change the LPOP? Were you not building LPO on the instrument cluster? And how did the old LPOP gears and front cover look?

Did you have a way to read data the made you take the hpop route as they are not a real common failure on the 05+ models. do you have a way to read live data?did you replace the stc fitting as well.

Changed the lpop just to knock it out. The gears and cover had some wear on them. Ill check the plugs when i get the rail out. Thanks.

New stc fitting as well. I will have the live data this weekend. I am driving the truck now, just have to wait when i shut it off for the oil to cool down. Needless to say, home and work is the only place it is shut off. I did put 15 quarts of oil, and all the reading before the work came from a snap-on solus.

its called an air test,,, way cheaper than just replacing everything in the HPOP system....

never heard of a LPOP causing hot start issues....

The truck has 170k miles, i dont have a problem replacing parts on it. The solus showed good low pressure, but i replaced it anyway. It did have some visible battle wounds. As far as the hpop the ipr valve screen was pretty much gone, and it was hitting about 380 hot. Glad i replaced everything that i have so far. The air test is when we found the injector cup seal failure.
Mustang ill look into the top injector o ring, thanks.

Truck sat for 13 hours at work today, i go to leave and it wouldnt start. Cranks good, no start. Had oil pressure and was showing some rpm's, but no start. I've had a few ficm dtc's pop up the past two months... Best part is i had a dead android phone that i got for the torque pro app, and an obd2 interface in my mailbox at home... I've never met luck... Or uncle sam, if i meet either of them, im cleanin house!
