poweraid carb spacer

Anybody ever try one? I installed one between my offy dp and holley 390. 4 hole, 1 inch thick aluminum. Have driven about 3,000 miles since. Most highway miles where I typically find 2,500 rpm's and roll along at 65ish mph. I swear this thing lowers my rpm about a hundred rpm at the same speeds. I don't see much as far as throttle response goes but I don't have a baseline to judge with either.

It kinda sounds like a diesel turbo winding up at higher rpms.

I know I'm crazy in most cases but am I crazy and gullable in this instance? Anybody else ever try one?

I haven't tried one, but I don't think it's possible for it to change your RPM. That's a direct connection between engine - transmission - differential - tires. A different amount of throttle, better gas mileage possibly, but not RPM.
I can see how one would work though, by spinning up the air through the holes and increase atomization. I'd certainly try one if they weren't so expensive.

I found it in a New Orleans pawn shop and didnt even know for certain what it was when i got it. Just thought it looked cool and knew it would fit my truck. Figured if anything i would gett a nice aluminun spacer out of it. Think I paid more for the 2" carb studs needed because I already run a 1" phenolic spacer.
Even snake oil will do something if its used for its actual intended purpose. If the remedy was mostly turpentine then it would have stripped paint. It wouldn't have cured your gout and cure your emphysema as advertised but it would have an effect.
I feel it holds speed better. I can hear a definite change in the pitch of the carb. Sounds like it sucks harder. Yes, I thoroughly checked it for leaks.
I'm not claiming huge increases I'm mpg or power like they claim. More curious than anything.
You guys saying its just a nice looking paperweight?
Has anybody ever ran one,...on anything? Throttle body spacer on an efi?

If that's the case, then you certainly can't hurt anything by running it. It probably has "some" gains, however mild, but I doubt any detriment. Just as long as you didn't pay the $120 price tag I saw online...
