Hey guys I have a 1978 f150 and I'm running 35 12.50 mtzs but I'm wanting more stance. I know the dangers of wheel spacers but I don't really care we have them on our crawling rig and they haven't broke yet and we thrash it so I'm just wondering if anyone has 2 inch wheel spacers on theirs and how it looks before I pick them up.

 

Do you know the offest or backspacing of your current wheels? Unless you are super attached to your wheels it might be easier to get new or used wheels with less backspacing to acchieve the same thing as spacers.

This all goes away if you have 3.5"ish backspacing already.

 

I am not exactly sure of the offset or back spacing but I know the rims are 9 inches wide and I already have about an inch of tire outside of the fenderwells

 

The stance would look cool, but I would be worried about clearance when turning the front wheels especially if articulating.
