New Grill Emblem

So we bought a 2006 F250 a couple of months ago and like every one we looked at, the grill emblem looks like a dog puked on it. So I got my wife a new emblem for her birthday. (Hey....it's what she asked for)

How do I put it on? The front upper panel has the little tree-like buttons holding it on and I can't seem to get them out without breaking something. Is there a trick or special tool for removing them?

Thanks
Shawn

They do break even with a clip removal tool. Why not just take out the 4 phillips head screws On top. Then the bottom of the grille has clips that pull straight out. If you want to pulling the closeout panel the clips should be available in any auto store in the help section. Or any local body shop they are widely used in allot of vehicles.
