Hi all,


I am currently working on a RHD converted 1994 f250HD 4wd ,single cab LWB .
Currently has a 460/E4od combo which I have to return to the previous owner to be replaced with a built 300/ 5 speed. I also have a 1982 factory RHD F250 2wd as a donor. The 94 has a 4 bolt steering box and the 82 has a 3 bolt. My dilemma is the 82 steers really well and has 2.5 turns lock to lock.The 94 has over 4 turns and frankly its very vague and difficult to figure out what the wheels are doing.
Are there pros and cons to either box ? Is there a purpose for the changeover if indeed both styles are used in LHD models at all. Any info or advice appreciated.

Ok, that explains it. You are RIGHT hand drive.

We are left hand drive in the USA and only have 3 bolt boxes
