All is well here...well, kinda. I'm sick. I've got the rest of the week off from job A, as I am highly congatious.

Sitting home, trying to repair my pc...I'm on my laptop right now.

Welcome d76highboy, Pete Schuessler, and D. Schantz1.... you are all now members of the MO chapter.

Rich, I STILL say that Bronco is Pink....

Someone must have said Beatlejuice three times to conjure you up Terry

Evening All!

I had a productive day. The Chevy bed is blocked painted and sitting back on the truck. Eric got the rear swapped out on a customer's Dodge pick up. I got RC's bumperette back on ole' Rip. ...and I got a motorcycle tank stripped and the mud work done. Then I got the volt meter in the monster truck working again. Cora also started stripping the hood of a Nissan Maxima with hail damage.

You know you have a big truck when you need a 5' step ladder to work under the dash on gauges.

Picked up engine computer #2 this evening but there's a pretty good storm brewing so I think I'll just hang out inside and maybe turn in early.

I'm still not sure what car I'll be in Saturday. I'm going to have to run the wheels off the truck Friday evening to see if it's good to go, otherwise it will be one of the others.

Now I need another foot of lift under EQ to get them on there.

Alan, I think you are right about the half ton steering column working in a F250. They are the same from all i can tell. I looked in Ol Big Red tonight changing the rag joint. Alan...think more than the rag joint was wrong I'm guessing my steering box is shot.... In Red. Doing donuts in a snow covered field when all steering went bad...rag joint was only the last thing that kept it together i think...

Im excited to bring Bandit Saturday. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Bandit did give me a couple issues in the last couple days I'm worried about....hope he behaves.

Steering column is the same in a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton, difference is yes a 1/2 ton has a rag joint and a 3/4 ton has a mini u joint in the steering shaft.

Bad steering box, skip the bad idea to get a local auto parts house rebuild and just get a Redhead, they have a great reputation.

Is Bandits trans fixed?

Alan congrats on getting some new big boy tires!

Correct, but take off the steering shaft on the 1/2 ton and you have a splined end for the 3/4 ton shaft. I'm 90% positive its the same till the shaft.

Bandits transmission is unplugged so I can drive it manually. I start out in second, which is slow, but I'm good after that. I'm taking it in next week sometime for wiring.
