And to think I almost got a 6 speed with Black! I didn't, because the wife can't drive a manual, and, since I had the boat at the time, I would have never been able to trust anyone on a boat ramp with a manual.

Good thing you didn't then! Admittedly, I wanted a manual in my diesel, but in a towing situation I'm not sure I want it. Autos do have their advantage that way.

Well, just enriched the economy to the tune of $494. Ordered the AC evap. and a chrome cover for the front Dana 44.

 

Same with this one, only about 3 years old. Junk...

The vinyl shop is sending me color samples in the mail, which I'll hopefully get today. So, I'd say sometime next week they'll show up, which is right on time with the truck coming back. Painter called to let me know he thinks it'll be done Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning at the latest. It's going well, according to him.

A guy bought it new, ran it one time and decided to get something different. I forget the brands but it has a b&s engine.

 

That's weird, usually the B&S's run pretty well.

 

One can only hope. Nothing has gone off according to plans this time around, so we'll see how it unfolds. At least the last push won't be really hard work - that's all behind me. Just time-consuming assembly jobs, 10 minutes here, half hour there kind of stuff.
