Hey Tyler,
That's the challenge with making these old trucks perfect.
He's going to park up at U of A in the Fall - It's just getting broken in....
I wouldn't worry about it. I've got a box full of spray paint cans from Paintscratch.com - one for each of my kids cars. You just bondo it up
& spray it & off it goes back to school. I found college parking lots are better than high school if that helps.

My son got blood clots in both of his lungs a month back. All the truck dents sort of disappear when faced with other life issues. (He's better now).

Give him a big hug & hand him a can of bondo & some paint...

(You also sound like you might need a new project. Hmmm).

I feel your pain. Typical inexperienced driver act. This being his second runaway would scare me.

Whats the back story on that?

Also, sounds like the OPs son doesnt get to drive the truck until he can remember to put it in gear.

That is tough to look at but no a suprise IMO..I think we all remember our first cars and our driving ( and attention!) skills.
It is the reason my daughter's first car will be a late model throw away, no driving the hot rods without mucho seat time first.
Of course if she does that with one of my Patina rods it will just add more character..

Sorry to see the damage! My dad use to have a car that when someone bumped it, it could pop out of gear. You may want to check your gear box. And now that he caused some damage, he will start to remember what can happen. What did he run into? That or maybe he needs a new project to work on...

At least it didn't roll into ANOTHER car.

When my son was 5, he stuck a garden hose in the exhaust pipe on my diesel farm tractor. Said it looked hot and needed to cool down. One week later I went out to run it. Fortunately, it wouldn't turn over and once the truth was out, it was fixed with no damage.

Since we are bringing up kid stories, I have a pretty good one. My dad is good friends with a snap-on salesman and he comes to my dads shop every Tuesday. When i was really little, he used to let e sit in the seat of the truck and turn the steering wheel and pretend I was driving. One day i decided to grab a lever on the dash and pull it. Well, all of the sudden the truck starts rolling backwards. My sister starts screaming and my dad and the salesman come running out of my dads shop. My dad jumps in and pulls me out, but he couldn't stop the truck. It rolled backwards until it got to the turn and fell over on its side. My dad had to buy the truck from him. He was not happy with me. Luckily I was only three years old at the time so I wasn't punished too hard.

Well if the tools were included in that payment, I probably would not be in college right now haha.
