Update to the thread

I had Custom and Commercial Wheel In Bloomington California rebuild my widow makers. A little over $200 each including powder coat.

How she looks now. We are going to see how we like the blue patina paint. I discovered the Hostess Cake lettering above the windshield yesterday.

We'd love to find a photo of the original colors. We can tell the wheels and hubs were red.

The Wonderbread store bakery on Arden Way In Sacramento, CA had a little museum. Maybe you can get in touch with them and see if they have any pictures of their trucks.

From what I remember they were painted like the packaging white with red blue, yellow dots all over the sides and rear of the truck Wonder was in red and the grill was red. I think bumpers may have been red too.

And were bought and sold, finally fell to investors. Not sure what may have happened to the museum.

Good to know that there is another P400 nearby. I'll have to pick your brain about your restoration. I have a 1964 Ford Boyertown Van

I took a peek at your photos, you found a nice one! We have three now... Have a look at the photos posted if you like.

You may need the wheels reworked as they are likely the dreaded widowmaker rims. otherwise it is pretty straightforward to work on. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best.

Where abouts do you keep your rig? Looks like the foothills... We keep ours near Santa Rosa.
