OP changed the fuse # 13 we now have compression and runs smooth Just kidding it is a broken rod and a blown oil line to turbo. A 2 for 1 special. thanks all for the info .

Love the sense of humor in a mechanically dire time. Did the rod punch a hole in the block and kill the oil line? Or did the oil line fail first and deprive the engine of oil?

Sorry to hear the about the loss of your engine.

Real sorry as well, would really like to know what caused the rod to let go, too often we do not get the whole story or the OP never comes back, I do not think that a few failures will tarnish what I see as a very good engine, to the OP, wish you well!

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I had an engine fail a few years ago, but thankfully it was still under warranty.

To OP, are you under warranty? If not, I really hate this happened to you.

Has it been determined what may have caused the piston rod to break? It would be great for the rest of us Eco engine owners to have some clue as to what went wrong.

Glad to hear you got a replacement engine at the wreckers. Interested to hear what caused the rod to break and all. I just bought my 2011 with 3.5L Eco.
