Bronco Restoration Project

Frame of the bronco completely stripped right after wire wheeling the whole thing

Before the front end was off and cleaned up and rebuilt

Before picture of the truck before the restoration

Engine bay after wire wheel

Truck right after pulling the body off

The current state of the project, frame all painted and front end going together now, new shocks, sway bar brackets, and all front end pieces rebuilt and painted.

I have a 1987 ford bronco Eddie Bauer edition that I am restoring. The motor is a 5.8L 351W and has a E4OD trans. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations about mods or parts before I put it back together. Engine is currently being rebuilt, being bored 0.030 over with bigger cam and lifters. Here are a few photos:

Don't skimp on the transmission (at least that's what I've been told when I wondered out loud about starting a resto on my 95)

Absolutely beautiful work on the chassis! There's only one way to do a REAL restoration, and you're doing it!

That's exactly the way I'm going to rebuild mine... in 5 years. Right now, there's a sports car and a house to be finished first. But at least I have it in on the list, and it will sit untouched until then.

Bronco Restoration Project

Looking good so far. I've got some work to do to mine(typical rust areas and paint), but like mentioned above, kids, house, work, etc, are all in line ahead of it.
