2015 F150 3.5l ecoboost Bad fuel mileage

So I was so excited to get my new truck till I checked the mpg's by dash computer and manually. On average getting between 12.5-13.5 city and 14 combined and that's in grandma mode aggressive driving is showing me on average 10 mpg's, now that's a far cry from the estimated window sticker of 17/19/23. Is anyone else having this problem with their 2015, not interested in comments from the earlier years we all know what mileage 2014's and older are getting in their ecoboost's. Oh and yes I have checked the tire pressure and the truck has stock tires

on it so it can't be that vbulletin/2000x1504/80

It takes time for engine to break in, then you'll see better mileage later. Was told it takes 8-10k before you see higher results.
I'm seeing 15.5 on mine, with just 500 miles now. I'll be patience and it should get better end of summer.

@Mark Waller, I believe it has the 3.31's and standard tow package but I'm not certain and my window sticker is in the truck which is currently at the dealership. I should get it back tomorrow and then I can better answer your question. On a side note while I was dropping it off today another guy with the same truck as mine was bringing his in with the same concern and the service guy told me there was another with same issue last week. So I'm apperently not the only one.

I have an ancient truck but with the exact same driveline as yours. The exact same generation 3.5L ecoboost, the six speed trans, etc.

You left out some thing sir, where do you drive mainly? Flats, hilly, mountainous, mixed? Freeway, city, mix traffic? What's your driving style? You stated that you have the 3.31 axles but you seem unsure. Can you confirm?

I did see incremental increases in my MPG's after buying my truck back in the dark ages of 2011 but I'll agree, it was never as bad as yours.

In all seriousness, I hope the dealer can chase this issue down for ya.

Yikes! That's awful. I, too, hope they can fix it quickly. Please keep us posted.

Well I'm in Las Vegas so it's a mixed of mostly flats with small inclines if you know the area, my driving style I did mention it's been Grandma Mode since my normal driving style resulted in 10-11 mpg's. I found a photo of my window sticker and just confirmed I do have the 3.31 gears.
If I had known I was to see these mpg's I would have rather just got the Super Duty F250 diesel.

I have 92 miles on my 5l with the 3.55 and the computer is showing 14.2 all city driving on flat ground short trips with a lot of idling while playing with it. So I would think something has to be wrong with your 3.5EB. Maybe that timing chain fix they made?

We'll see what the dealership says for the second time now and after I filed a complaint with Ford Motor Co. I should get it back tonight fingers crossed they have a better explanation then last time.

So what did they tell you the first time ? I bet it's because of how you drive! Easy way out for them.

That's exactly what they said it was last time, either my driving style or because the truck is still in break in mode. Update - dealership just called and they are saying the truck is getting 20mpg's so now when I get there they are suppose to show me how they achieved this. Isn't this going to be interesting.
