Awhile back my remote start stopped working.

There are two 6 button FOBs.

When I try the remote start button on the fob, the doors lock and the horn beeps once.

Then the horn beeps 6 times which indicates the system is in service/valet mode.

I followed these instructions to return to normal mode.

Insert key and turn to ON or RUN (foot OFF brake).
Press the remote start button on remote 3 TIMES.
Horn will honk 1 TIME indicating system is out of Valet Mode.
Remove key and test to make sure system functions normal.

But as soon as go to press the remote start button 3 times, after the first press on the remote start button the horn beeps 6 times.

I've tried many times, also with the 2nd fob with the same results.

Any ideas what to do next would be appreciated.
