2009 250 SD v10 opinions

Hey guys I have a question. I have found a 2009 250 lariat crew with the v10. I'm buying it from a dealer and got them down to 20,000.00 out the door. It has 104k miles on it. Is this a good deal? I Blue booked the truck and it was around 26000. It has had 2 owners and the vehicle history showed me all maintenance records and it has been well cared for. It is super clean.

Let me know please and thank you all

Great engine, great transmission, great truck. Value? Probably OK, hard to say without a close inspection.

depends on area.

last year I paid 24K for an f-350 CC LB V-10 dually with 4.1 rear and 52K miles and I thought that was high...but I wanted the truck.

Looks good from the pictures. Nice tires but trust me don't drive on gravel with them. They shoot rock everywhere including on the truck. Seems like a good price.

Thank you, They just put the tires on the truck. My current v10 has around 240k miles on it and it rock solid but this is the first lariat that I will own and sort of nervous.

It sure looks clean to me. Price might be a bit high, but not outrageous. Clean V10's are getting harder and harder to come by.

What's the axle ratio? What will you be using the truck for?

4.10 gearing and I will be using it as my daily commuter and I will have my boss v blade on it for winter as well.

Appears to be a good truck at a decent price. As stated before, the V10 powered trucks are hard to find, and for good reason. Good luck on the purchase! Let us know when you start wearing the BSEG!!

I used to drive an early 2000's E350 with the V10 at work. Thing pulled a trailer as well or better than the 7.3 F350 we have now, except for the gas mileage.

as a comparison, I paid 20,900.00 for a 2008 CC 4x4 V10 with 40K miles, XL package (buckets, PW, PL, gov tint)

Yeah but where are you from? I'm in michigan and it's damn hard to find something like what you have there but then again I don't need a DRW truck.

BSEG!!!! Got it home today and felt just as good if not better than the other v10 sitting right next to it. Now I don't have to worry about the GF stealing my 10, she has her own lol
