33x12.50 might be pushing it. Usually 12 is as wide as will fit in the back without problems.
33x10.50 might fit better, or else 32x11.50.
I'm running 31x10.50 on my 2wd, the back fits and clears fine, but I can catch the front fenders if I'm turned hard and hit a big bump that sends the wheel up.

My 67 F250 4x4, with no added lift, is running 325x75x17 MT Baja's. No problems, front or rear. I added P/S so handling is easy, other than the turning radius is a bit large. Not any larger than my '93 F250 4x4 Diesel though, and perhaps a little tighter.
Good luck with the fat tires
