straight exhaust pipes or no
taking a survey on here.. what would you do or what have you done, pros and cons of doing it.
Just running straight exhaust no cat or muffler?
Straight exhaust with a muffler of some sort (what kind)?
Leaving it stock?
Cat with not muffler?
Have stock cat and muffler on now but would like it to sound meaner..

I've been on the fence on this one as well. I have everything sitting at work to do a 4" to 5" straight. Debating leaving the cat in at first. I just an not sure about the sound. My other hang up is that my truck is my tow rig for the TT. We visit multiple states and plans to expand our travels all over the US. I wild Hate to get ticketed or worse across state lines.

This is what I have, but will need to install a muffler before next year. Texas no longer recognizes a turbocharger as a muffling device. The most liberal sticker place in the county already told me it won't pass. It's extremely noticeable when it's idling and does a vane sweep. When people ask me WTF I say it's the Jake Brake resetting.
