Nominations/ Volunteers for the Oregon chapter leader position are now open

Make sure that the person you nominate will accept the position.

Nominees/Volunteers introduce yourself, provide a brief detail of what you do, where you live and add your first name to your signature.

It is with a heavy heart that I will start this process............

The floor is open to nominees and volunteers, post up folks, lets do this.

 

So, is Dave a nomination?

 

Dave is nominated! I would throw my hat in the ring for a secondary roll type consideration, but only as his XO and ONLY if that does not in anyway interfere with my "travels around the world". Don't want my "wings" clipped.

 

I'll make it official. I nominate Dave for the position of Oregon Chapter Leader.

I'll take it a step farther and nominate Jim as the Assistant Oregon Chapter Leader... should Dave get assassinated as Rob mentioned.

I considered throwing my hat in the ring. However, my plate is too full now what with two jobs, etc., etc..

Hell! Jim beat me to it by a few seconds.

NOBODY else wants to give it a try?

 

Dave send me a pm with your telephone /cell no. so we can chat about the position. That is if you truly have accepted the nomination.

 

I'm good with Dave taking it. What about Jim as the assistant?

I'm with Dave... rules are rules. And that Jim would make a great CO... except that he is starting to get forgetful in his twilight years.

Well, we'll leave this open, in case anyone else wishs to be nominated. And, we can put it up to a vote, if that's what you guys wish, it can work however you like!

 

Never mind I found the 14 day thing.

 

I make a motion to suspend the rules and move the bill to the floor for a DAVE vote......(oh gawd, I think I've been spending way too much time around the Oregon Legislature in Salem..........)


4. The Chapter Leader Election Process: To select a Chapter Leader: After notifying a Regional Chapters Moderator, a thread in your chapter forum shall be opened for 30 days to take nominations from willing candidates to fill the position. When the nomination poll is closed, FTE will provide a list of approved candidates from that poll for the final vote . A 14 day poll will then be opened for the membership to elect their new Chapter Leader from this list of approved candidates.

In the event no one is nominated or elected to the position of Chapter Leader all member approvals will be put on "Auto-Approve". FTE shall be the sole arbiter of the Chapters viability, and will make all decisions regarding it's continued existence.
