I picked up a nice old f150 last week. It is a 2000 with the 5.4 165000 miles on it. The truck has needed and will need more mechanical love but it is a pretty nice truck. The drivers seat leather is shot but otherwise pretty clean. I replaced my 2002 screw 2wd 4.6 liter with this truck so far I like it.

Thanks guys. I like it. I am going to put tires and maybe wheels on it. I am thinking American racing baha or mickey Thompson classic11 's.( basically Alcoa classic style) I am not really into a lot of these newer fancy after market wheels on older trucks. what do you guys think looks good on these?

I saw they have those in black now that probably would look cool. The wheels on it now are pitted and a little flashy for my taste.

Agree with you. I actually got stock still on mine and thats because I can't decide on lift or not, that would mean bigger tires.

I was thinking that rather then spending the $$$ I was going to clean them real good and plasti dip them in black.

You might like yours in that too, was that ever an option for you?

No need, beauty about it is that if you don't like the look of it, just take it off. It's not paint and its not there for ever.
