My new 1978 F100
Just picked up a new to me 1 owner 1978 F100 custom 2wd short bed. It hasn't been started for a few years. It has a 300-6 with 3 on the tree.[/URL[/URL[/URL
The interior is in good shape other then the seat. The dash has been covered and has no cracks and is still soft. I spent a few hours with a pressure washer cleaning things up. I post some pictures of it clean tomorrow.
Question how do i get all the pine needles out of the cowl vents in front of the windshield ?

i spent about 2 hours fishing out as many as i can with a bent coat hanger. Still a lot to go. cleaned the bed out and had no rust through. Started to drain the fuel out of the tank it smelled bad. I got the original title with truck. pulled carpet back and floor boards are spotless . Should be able to start it up tomorrow

If you remove the air vents in the kick panels you might be able to get a lot of the needles out. Try blowing them with compressed air to the sides were the vents are. Have to take the heater loose to get the right side. Probably have to do a heater core in the future anyway. My Dad bought a truck same color and equipment in 78. Was a nice looking truck.
