Misfire/bogging at cruising speed
Hello, I recently got a 1997 F350 CC with the 5.8l. I only use this to haul water for my acreage, and it will sit for a week or 2 at a time, but I went to town Friday morning, about 12 miles, and halfway there it felt like I was letting off the throttle and bogging down. It would happen for 2-3 seconds then pick up again. This happened the rest of the way to town, on and off, and once was so bad it slowed me from 100kph to 80 before it would accelerate again. Once I got to town I got a new fuel filter, as it was still on my to do list, and that didnt help. Since then, I've changed plugs, new coil, and the ignition control module from a parts truck I have. FPR is not leaking, pressure is 32psi with vacuum, 40 with the vacuum line unplugged.
Before this, I did cap/rotor/wires shortly after getting it, as 2 wires were corroded off and the cap/rotor were poor condition, and didn't make a difference in fuel economy, even though it is now running on all 8. Did a compression test, on the right side got: 90, 125, 90, 110 Left side - 100, 100, 115, 85
The check engine light was coming on after 10-15 minutes of driving, and counting the flashes wasnt working, so I got a code reader, and then got codes

173
538
Tonight, I even unplugged the O2 sensor, and it is still doing it. Ever since this started happening, the check engine light is no longer coming on, even with the 02 sensor unplugged.
There is an exhaust tick, and when its bogging down, the tick goes from consistent to random, so it is still firing partially.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Craig
