I will be in Myrtle Beach on the weekend of May 15th.

I can meet up in PA and pick the wheels up and take them down with me to SC. My schedule will be very tight in SC so I will only be able to pass them off to someone in Myrtle Beach.

I wish I could meet in MB but I already have plans that weekend. I will check with my uncle (north of MB) and see if he has room to store for a few weeks.

Just let me know. I will also be down there the weekend before, but I do not think I will have enough room for them.

It takes a village to raise an Excursion.

I am new to the world of forums. Only been part of a couple others but the people on here definitely set the bar high for any future forums. Thanks to all of you.

Thank you all for the kind words, I don't know that I actually did anything that most of you guys wouldn't have also done. This just worked out well with the timing and location.

Mark made the long drive up to my place today to pick his new H-D rims up.

It was well worth dealing with all of the typical CL nitty gritty stuff getting these rims just to finally be able to meet Mark face to face. He is a great guy (as many of you already know) and I really enjoyed our 2 hours of conversation, I'm looking forward to our next meeting on some future Southern trip. Of course we both got to show off our EXs some, Rudolph is a sweet ride but I think Mark now wants to trade his EX for my mighty Metro after our ride to lunch in it.

I've now met both Mark and Jonathan (Apoc) from the forums here and I truly enjoyed both meetings and only wish we had longer to talk. I look forward to meeting many more of you fine folks here someday and I strongly encourage everyone to seek out fellow forum friends, it's so nice to finally be able to shake the hand of someone who you have considered a friend for so long. <!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" oreferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"/> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"/> </v:formulas> <vath o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"/> <o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"/></v:shapetype><v:shape id="Picture_x0020_1" o:spid="_x0000_i1025" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="0" style='width:45pt;height:30pt;visibility:visible;m so-wrap-style:square'> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:\Users\z01tjz\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01 \clip_image001.gif" o:title="0"/></v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->

Here's Rudolph and the Green Giant getting to know each other.

The only problem with being out west is that we're all spread out over here. You east coasters have it easy. We should all just meet up somewhere in the middle (like Reno, NV).

By the time Mark gets home on Saturday he will have logged about 1500 miles for his round trip. Not exactly "just around the corner". His parts run beat my 1365 mile run out to Wisconsin and back for my axles, and I had a co-pilot!
Reno sounds good to me Jeremy, I'll need about 4 weeks off work to really enjoy the trip though.

I left Thursday at 1500 and got home Saturday 0530. 1632 miles in 38.5 hours including stops (fuel, eats, sleep, )

Yeah, so easy we have to pay tolls for roads that are already paid for.

Yes, it would have been nice, but I was sending Tom PM's Saturday AM (from my orange room) giving an expected ETA.

More on this topic later...
