210 Ford F250 High Pitche Ringing...Also dash knocking noise
Monday the 27th will be my third time bringing my truck in for both noises I am hearing. I don't think the two noise are related. The first more important noise occurs around 22-30 pounds of boost. It initially started while towing around 8k lbs but has become more frequent with or without a load. I thought initially it was a crack up pipe but have been told it could also be a cracked exhaust manifold. My dealer claims there is nothing wrong with it that they can find but I will include a link to a video of both noises. At 92k Miles my warranty is nearly up and I don't want to fork out 800 bucks for new up pipes or worse once it expires. Also if I lift the hood and have someone put the truck under load in park, once they let off, a very small amount of exhaust smoke rises from the driver side up pipe area.
The knocking noise, which I will link a video to it as well, happens basically all the time after the truck is warm. Its a deep clicking or knocking noise from inside the dash. Almost sounds like water dripping. The dealer claimed they fixed it last time I brought it in but it is undoubtedly not fixed. I have seen on this forum it could be an actuator but I want to hear all options so I can press the dealer to fix it before my warranty runs out.
This truck is completely stock oil interval no more than 7500 miles, fuel filter done every 2nd oil change. Highway truck for the most part.
Going to tune and delete her once warranty is up.. don't want her to blow up in my face... Thanks in advance for any input.. just looking for enough information to make sure the dealer fixes her this time

Come back and tell us how things go at the dealership; I'm sure they'll do all they can to get these noises quieted down for you. I'll be here if you need assistance after your appointment.

The first video sounds like rustling paper. Made me think you were eating something. If you have a puff of smoke under your hood your definitely looking for an exhaust leak and that is not hard to find.
Does the dash popping sound stop when you turn off your temp controls? Just hit the off button and see if it quits. If the shop claims it fixed it ... what work was done??

The ringing noise I believe it coming from right behind the turbo at the very top of the up pipes. There is definitely exhaust coming from a weld there.
I dropped her at Ford this AM so we will see what they say.
