1967 F250 Camper Special Rear Hub Size
Trying to order aluminum wheels for a 1967 f250 Camper Special 2-wheel drive. Dealer wants to know rear hub diameter and overall length of hub to determine if their caps will fit. Looked all over but can't find dimensions. Pickup is located elsewhere so can't measure myself. Would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Yes...but they need the measurements of the rear hub to make sure the closed caps that come with the aluminum wheels will fit. They are thinking I need an open sleeve because of the length of hub (bearing carrier). Although I have seen a few 67's with aluminum wheels that had full caps on the rear. Can't be that odd. Problem is their books only go back to 1980. Thinking I could tell them it should be the same.

Thanks Rich...just being overly cautious because the pickup is not local and I need the wheels and tires shipped. Don't want to pay for shipping twice.

I can only speak from experience with my own '67 F250 4x4, not that the 4x4 matters with the rear end.. I believe ND knows more than most, and perhaps all, but I think you are asking about the floating axel hub, common to all F250's. Just measure the hub on any F250 near you, and buy the wheels to fit. I have 2010 aluminum 17" rims all the way around my rig, and Micky Thompson 325x75x17 'Baja' tires. They work just fine, on or off the road, and with my 4:11 ratio, they have improved my gas mileage a bit.
