Horn works when it wants.

My 86 f150 horn works when key is in the off position an not when keys on or trucks running. Guessing a ground problems, any ideas wear to check?

I'm betting you have cruise. And the problem is under the horn pad where you don't have the proper ground.

Dose the horn pad come off the wheel easy? Thx for the tip

Yes. Two Phillips screws on the front side of the wheel.
