so I was about to add regular PSF to my Power Steering
Hey guys, ive had my 01 superduty 7.3 about 10 days now, ive done full oil and filter change, trans fluid change, fuel filter change and radiator flush and refill.
I checked my Power steering fluid and it barely registers on the dipstick.
I stopped at O'reilly to buy some PS fluid and then something made me stop and think I better make sure im putting the right stuff in since it seems like everything on a Diesel is different.
I did some searches and found a few different answers, but most seem to say the same thing which is don't put regular PS fluid in there, but there were different opinions as to what to put in there.
Am I ok putting the same Valvoline Dex/Merc blend into my PS res as i put into my transmission? I have about a quart or so left.
