I was just wondering the weight of my 1992 F150 supercab 5.0L short bed. looked around on google and couldnt find anything. Both tanks full, too. no tool boxes or light racks. thanks!

 

My guess would be around 4500 lbs, but I've seen opinions from others (probably with more experience with trucks on scales than I have) putting it closer to 5500 lbs. Your best bet is to find a scale and weigh it. If you have some scrap metal to drop at a yard you can probably run it across a scale there for free.

 

Any truck stop will weight it for a few bucks, and a scrap yard might do it for nothing.

 

About 4500lbs for a 2x4 ext cab F150 of this vintage, 5000lbs for a 4x4 version.

 

only scrap yards around here just have small scales for barrels and what not. and the nearest scales i think of is about 2 hours away. bout what i thought though. thanks guys!

 

i have a scale ticket from po that reads 5100 tare. 94 5.0 4x4 single cab long box. dual tanks. idk if thats really that much correct or not. take it with a grain of salt.
