Air Bags for the rear
#16
2008 f250...I put the Timbren SES on the rear of my truck and love them...reduces rear end squat and increases stability when towing and doesn't affect unloaded ride quality. I had to modify the mounting bracket to raise the Timbrens another 3/8" off the rear axle when unloaded as originally they contacted the axle on bigger bumps and made the rear end bouncy. Bit more clearance now and they work great :-)

Cool! I think I might pick up a set for my F250. Thanks for the report!

Well, I can speak to the firestone kit. I just finished the install on my 450 this last weekend. Overall, the kit was pretty easy to install. Everything bolted right in with no modifications. The kit was sturdy and well designed. I see no issues with this kit at all. I put my 11.5 foot Arctic Fox Camper on the truck and it did amazing leveling the truck out, as I would expect. I also added the tork lift stable loads, which helped a ton too. I've only driven about 30 miles on it, but it is noticeably better.
I too didn't do the compressor. However, that will be done in the near future. I put the bags on first as I can manually inflate until I get the rest of the system and put it on. I'd highly recommend the firestone kit. I have no experience with the Air Lift kit.

Just a note on your choice of your Air Bag Schrader Valve location. Our Lance 861(?), is just shy of 4000 lbs. By having a dining room slide, once loaded the left side is most definitely heavier. I installed rear fender well liners and ran individual Schrader Valves just under the bed lip. Typically about a 10lb air difference between the Lt & Rt sides made for everything to be virtually perfectly level all around. We also run 4 Rancho 9000's shocks. By using the same onboard compressor you can just press a button while driving and firm up or soften the trucks stability The Rancho 9000 shock's with the onboard compressor makes a Night & Day difference while traveling on virtually every road. (Highly Recommended)
