Ha I just called Diamond International in town and they quoted me $13.00 each for the factory head bolts I laughed and told him studs are cheaper and stronger lol

Well there is one good thing I have found in the boxes and bags of parts tucked away nicely protected......



And I talked to the po when I found it he said brand new not reman

cool rigs guys but those things are probably about as fun to park as log truck.
for dunkin donuts or lunch.i don't even bother try.park roadside and run in.

Also the injectors are bb code and anyone know of a good place in KCMO to get them tested/rebuilt

Hate to be the bringer of "bad news"... Its a Red-Tag... Its rebuilt... That being said, the good news is that the number makes it a 7.3 pump....And being rebuilt just means it was a core at some point, that core could have 10K on it, never know. It met spec, so its a good pump...


Beyond that, Im a bumpside fan!.... definitely looking forward to the build!

Decided to go with ford gray for the motor instead of IH gray I always loved the old 8/9n tractors

I also found a local shop that a friend recommended me to it is a one man shop and he is like 25 but the guy knows his stuff all he does is rebuild pumps and injectors he said he would pop test mine for free If anyone is in KC and needs some fuel work done check out Farrell Diesel Service

I honestly thought the IH gray looked greenish like sea foam?
