It may be hard to associate a vehicle that can cost north of $70,000, such as the 2015 Lincoln Navigator, with the word "value," but it's not impossible. Especially if you're good at measuring lifecycle costs.

This is silly. THE major cost of a vehicle in this price range is depreciation. You have $70k to lose here. My E150 van cost me $23k when it was brand new, bought in '03, and it is still running just fine. So 23k/12 years is less than $2k per year of depreciation if I gave it away tomorrow. What does 12 years of depreciation look like with the Navigator? What does 5 years of depreciation look like?
I'm sorry, but Ford is still selling huge trucks that are relatively cheap to build "by the pound" and adding "content" to jack the prices up further. The only lifecycle the Navigator will help is that of the Ford Motor Company.
I would really enjoy driving one, but sorry, not at that price. Aside from 4WD and ability to pull a heavy trailer, you would get the same kind of function and more interior space out of a $30-35k minivan although Ford has no offerings in that area.
