Is there such a thing as a aftermarket or factory hub that could be swapped for the standard front wheel hubs on a F100 ??
Why do I ask....the dreaded custom wheel situation. I'm getting very frustrated looking for a custom mag wheel that will fit on my 74' f100. It seems there's a few 5 /5.5 bolt pattern wheels but VERY few that have a large enough center bore. Even the manufacturers don't really know that since they ask you to state what vehicle you have and then up pops a variety of wheels ......most of which will not actually fit our trucks because of the small center opening.
I know there's an option to have a machine shop grind the hub section down but I've already been turned down by 2 different shops stating safety and liability issues.
Sooo....does anyone actually produce or is there a way to swap for a 3 inch diameter hub ??
