The saturday event did have a lot of 'outsiders' which in my opinion is good for the growth of the event and for Clay's company, but a lot felt that the brotherhood feel is being lost in the growth. There was a huge discussion on FB.
The only thing I hope changes about the event is that some way or another the amount of time a few individuals have to put into prepping for Saturday can be decreased. I hardly got to see them due to them being at the track sun up to sun down. Other than that I felt plenty of brotherhood. People just need to choose to spend their time in a different manner.
Like disappearing to a waterin' hole in the middle of the hills and returning for a small potluck.
Yeah wish we could of met you lee. I didn't even notice anyone taking pictures. Of course my eyes were on ice cream. Haha you did get a lot of pics of my truck though. That was cool
I also agree the fair grounds did have a lot of outsiders. I spoke to Clay personally on the phone and he made it very clear to me as to why: if he makes 10% profit back of what he had in it, he said he would be ecstatic, even with all the outsiders.
But as I said on FB, the true RREs not at the fair, but at the campgrounds
