As most of you already know, the official dates will be Friday, July 17th, Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th but we will start with something on Thursday the 16th and many will come even before that. The KOA is closed to all but us so you will need to call and tell the you are with RRE or the truck thing.

Barry, do you know if they are gonna do the sled pull again this year? Heard anything about the drag strip?

 

I'll be coming that way on Thursday morning with camper in tow. Meet you on I-40 and follow me there. I know the way.

 

Sled is a go, Drag strip is currently closed and for sale. Not sure we can work anything out. Clay and crew are working on all the details and will chime in soon. For the Riffraff crew it's been a very busy spring with business and family issues but they are working hard to get everything set up.

Site reserved but I didn't say I was with the truck 'thing'! LOL

 

I got one of "the help" when I called. She first told me they were booked and had no openings. I told her I was with Riffraff and she didn't have a clue. Then I told her I was with the truck thing and she said oh yeah, I'll put your name down and let Scott handle it when he comes back. Called back later and got Scott to verify I had the sites I wanted.

 

My camper is looking like something!! Now to make my truck drive lol

I shall be in attendance. Its funny that this event came up in my negotiations for jobs. I said "I need to start the 20th of July or later....or you need to expect that I will take 1 week off in mid-July for a trip to TN if you start me before then." lol

 

It does appear that the campsites are all booked. I would still call and keep checking as some may open up later. Events are being planned and we should have everything nailed down soon. It looks like a full day at the fairgrounds on Saturday with Dynos and Sled pulls and lots of other things through out the day. We will have some of the usaual things and probably some new things at the campground. Stay tuned for more information as things get firmed up.
