I put in countless hours searching for a part # in order for me to purchase a alternator which is missing on a engine which I purchased. Can anyone either provide a part # or an alternative # that would work in my 1970 351w ? Thanks guys.

 

Any tags on the motor, especially carb or near the coil?

Casting numbers?

This is a Napa alternator for a 1970 Galaxie with a 351w. Going backwards to find applications for the part number, it shows this part can be used on dozens of vehicle models.

So if you can find out what that 351w came in, you'll be able to find an alternator that should work.
