Service Engine Light at Acceleration Only

So i replaced the faulty injector and the truck starts up great and runs great. The only issue is that now when i accelerate, the SES light comes on until i let it up a little. If i am at cruising speed or just a steady speed the light goes off. I havent checked for codes yet because the light didnt stay on. I have AE and know how to use most of it. Is there something i should be looking at? Could it have something to do with the Blue/Gray CPS i installed or maybe there could still be an air bubble in the oil rail from when i drained the rail ? I have a DP tuner and stage-1 injectors. Regardless it sure is nice to have my truck back out on the road. It was a horrible 3 weeks without it.

Sounds like low pressure on the high pressure side when under load. If the issue never happened before, I'd look at your new injector. Or possibly one of the other injectors bleeding off pressure seeing how you've had one go bad.

Probably a P1211 code, but you need to read it and verify to be sure.

If I run the AE and log ICP and ICP duty cycle would that give any clues? I assume at normal operating temperature?

Connect to the truck and see what codes are present.

agreed. connect and read codes. if the light came on, there is a stored code.
it does not have to stay on to read codes.

So i read the codes this morning and at the DTC tab i got P1316 which is what i was getting before replacing the #8 injector. When i did the KOEO scan i got P0605, P1271, P1277. When i did a buzz test i got P1271 and P1277. I cleared the codes and did a KOER and got P0476 and P0541. My CCT failed #2, #3,#8? The truck runs well except that the light comes on under mid to heavy acceleration. I can drive like a wimp and keep the light from coming on. I Logged the ICP presuure and Duty cycle% but couldnt figure out how to attach it. With the exception of just replacing #1 and #7 injectors, i am out of ideas. Could it be dirty oil ( less than 3k miles mostly stop and go) or a dirty sensor? What about dirty air filter? I need to change but cant throw anymore money at it at this point. Thanks

What was your ICP and your duty cycle? What about turbo boost? Are you running a chip/tuner?

I also have an older fuel crossover installed on the heads? Since it is taking pressure from the passenger side to the drivers side i wasnt sure if that would matter?

Assuming the FRX is working properly, it should have no negative affect on things.

I got that wrong, i dont have a fuel crossover FRX i have a high pressure crossover HPX that goes between the heads. I assume they are two different crossovers? I didnt have the problem before i replaced the #8 injector. Is it possible that it is just air bubbles under the sensor or in the head(s).

I would think boost but with thoses codes I'm not sure. High boost turns the ses light on then off again when reduced a while. Do you have a boost fooler on?

I do have a boost relief valve installed between the Map and wherever the other end goes. The previous owner had it electrical taped so it wouldnt open? I dont think i get enough boost to make the light go on because my guage is usually below 5? How could i test the boost besides looking at the pod guage? Is there a way to do it in AE? Wouldnt it show a code for overboost?

your gauge may be bad, or the line has a leak in it / stock you should see around 15 to 17 psi at full throttle, with a chip you can see over 25 psi.

If i read the MAP PID in AE, should that and the Boost gauge be about the same? If i have a leak would that make the SES light flash while accelerating? I have always had low boost readings but the SES light flashing has only been since i replaced the $8 injector a few days ago. It seems as soon as i get one thing fixed something else shows up.
