Hood Bumper Part Number?

I am in search of the hood bumpers that press into the front of the inner fender, just behind the radiator support. My 76 has holes there but no bumpers. My Dad tells me there are rubber bumpers that press into those holes to keep my hood from fluttering as I ride done the road. I have been looking at the images of the front end in this post but cannot see the part I need.

I'm looking for a part number or a specific part name that I can search on.
If my description is not good enough I can take pictures of the mounting location for you to see.
I have the bumpers on the underside of the hood, six of them, but they don't keep the hood from fluttering.

Thanks,
Chris

some trucks have them some don't, I've got a set of inner fenders on katy, 1 has the hole(s) punched for it and the other doesn't. Was going to put them on my jy list for the next time I go. Should be a lot of cars with big heavy hoods that have them. According to 77&79's diagram the part # your looking for is 384931-s or (BB-867-K). Just look for a ltd, marquis, torino or any other big hooded ford and jimmy the hood.

Well, a search on Ebay yielded the first part number is a bolt and nothing useful on Ebay or Google for the second. Thanks for trying.
I just remembered I have a 75 F150 and a 73 F350 out in the field that may have something on it. I will check in the morning. I don't know why I keep forgetting about those trucks when I'm looking for parts for this 76.

Thanks,
Chris

That part may show up as a 2-3" bolt with 2 nuts, the rubber piece on top is just a rubber cap. The cap can be pried off if your careful, use a dab of grease to slip it on. Thats probably why it showed up as a bolt on ebay.

I'm kinda thinking I was mislead by Dad. I'll let him slide though, as the chemo has been hard on his memory.
I checked the 73 and 75 I have, and neither has any evidence of a rubber bumper, or bolt with rubber cap. On the 73 I found a wire loom in the hole on the left inner fender, coming up from the bottom.

Perhaps I need to review the rubber bumper screwed to the bottom edge of the hood, as maybe their spring is gone, due to age.

Thanks,
Chris
