What exactly would be the point or reason for doing this? A Sanden compressor is much better.

Ok, thanks TG001. I had heard that the York was better. I really have no clue about it. What is OEM? I f Sanden is the best compressor, then that's the way I'll go. Can you go into more detail please? Thanks for any suggestions. I just want the best A/C compressor. Mine is getting ready to go, it's not summer yet. LOL!

The BIG question is how are you going to mount that brute of a compressor? I'd replace with the FS10 to keep things simple unless you have dual AC system in a large vehicle.

I have dual AC compressors in my 95 E350 bus and have though about tying the coach and cab systems together to rid the 2nd belt eating A/C compressor(2 A/c compressors, smog pump and alternator on one belt). I looked into the York's, but mounting will be all custom brackets unless you go back to the mid-later 70's and 80's when Yorks were common.

Ok, guys looks like I will stay with the FS10. Where's the best place to get a new one, not rebuilt? Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.

Well, I made a typo, shoulda been a York 210, not 212. My bad. BTW, Is a 212 bigger than a 210, amd what is the size comparison between a York 210 and 212 and FS10 OEM?
