I had one on my 2013 6.2

The only issues you MAY have is the front driveshaft is very close to one of the exhaust pipes.

Mine had 1/4 of an inch when I was done.

There are a couple of options

1) Luck out like I did
2) Cut a small section out of the exhaust and weld it back together so it will pull away from the shaft.
3) Get a new front driveshaft with a smaller outer diameter.

I had the BDS lift with fox shocks. Very nice kit.

If you choose to go with a kit that had a drop pitman arm absolutely make sure that you retorque the bolt that connects the pitman arm to the steering box. Mine just about came off.

BDS 4.5 does have a dropped pitman arm. the ICON kit (which is also very nice) does not. Comes with an adjustable track bar.

If you want to lift, go for it. You may just luck out and it will clear. If not, address it then.

Good luck.

I chose not to lift my 2015 6.2

Thanks will look into BDS...I've heard the 3inch pro comp avoids all clearance but no proof

I think that is simply because it's a 3 inch lift. Nothing special about manufacturing a lift will get around this issue. When the truck comes up with the lift, the angle of the driveshaft gets steeper. Since the exhaust pipe I am talking about is a bit below and slightly to the side of the front driveshaft, lifting anything over 3 inches could potentially cause this issue.

I would go with BDS with the FOX 2.0 shocks or the ICON kit. ICONs entry level kit is good since they reengineered their entry level shocks. Before they would use edelbrock or billstein. Not what you are paying for.

The super duty is such an easy truck lift so a lot of the kits are very similar. Look into a kit with a good quality shock. Again. I really stress the BDS kit with the FOX shocks. BDS have a lifetime no questions asked warranty. Built in the US too. And FOX shocks are a great shock.

EDIT: No. I don't work for BDS or Fox . I have had a bunch of different brands on trucks over the years and overall, they have been the best quality for the price.

Good luck.

I would take a look at the Zone Offroad kits....I have one on my 2005 F250 and really like it. One this is I up graded to the Nitro Shocks.
The Zone kit comes with a new track bar and its a beast.
Heres the kit without the New Radius Arms...
Zone Offroad 4" Suspension Lift Kit F16/F18

With the new Radius arms...
Zone Offroad 4" Radius Arm Suspension System F25/F26

Also I believe that BDS makes the Zone Offroad kits.

I have a 2012 F250, 6.2L with a 6" ProComp lift. I did have to modify the exhaust to clear the front driveshaft.....but only because it made contact when the drivers side of the axle was in compression off-road. Just driving around town I had no issues. I did modify the out-of-the-box lift slightly, I went with some Icon shocks, and a rear traction bar/block set up from PMF, instead of the basic shocks and rear blocks/add-a-leaves. I've been very happy with the ride, and how it handles.

what kind of gears are you running on your truck? Just curious on how the 6.2L performs with bigger tires?

4 year old thread, not sure if those guys are still around but hopefully Ron will chime in. There's good info on this subject down in the 6.2 forum.
