Transfer Case 4WD Solenoid Fault

Can someone tell me if this is difficult to replace myself? I had my truck in a couple weeks ago and they told me code P1812 showed up which is Transfer Case 4WD Solenoid Fault. My engine light just came on a couple days ago so not sure if this what's causing it, but taking to a friend today who has a handheld to hook up to my truck. I have a 03' F250 6.0L.

I think it's fairly easy to get to and change. I've seen a manual replacement for it also. Only problem is you have to go under the truck the shift it. I think if you go under from the driver side it's right there on the side of the xfer case and held in place with just 2 or 3 bolts.
