tail lights not working

So my tail lights and license plate lights are not working. The head lights work also my gauge cluster lights are not working.does anybody know which fuese I should check. Or any other thoughs what it might be?

Check the fuse for the dash lights. The tail lights and dash lights are sometimes connected.

Check ground at back and all connectors, you may habpve a dead short taking that fuse out. All the salt and grunt get up there and corrodes everything.

Some times they just get tired and quit like any other component.

The old glass type with the zinc element inside I can agree with you. But the modern blade style ones, no they don't wear out. They blow because of a heavier draw than what they're rated for.

His fuse may not be in the same location as yours since you did not post what engine you have.
