New Bushings?

Had her since high school (I'm 24 now). She was passed down to me from my grandpa. First car/truck I have ever owned, and is my daily driver other than my harley.

I need advice on what bushings to run. Have a few pics of the ones that are bad. The original owner put crapy radius arm bushings on there and they are starting to crumble. I have a really bad creaking noise when I am turning into the drive way. What do you guys think?

I just use poly on everything because they last longer.

Some say body bushings should be rubber to absorb vibration but in these trucks? Really?

Naw, just replace them once more (use poly).

The steering components I believe already come with rubber so that's what you gotta use.

You didn't show any photos of the radius arm bushings… those tie rod ends look OK… no rust streaks or damaged grease boots. Check the end play on the tie rods by gripping them with a large Channellock pliers and see how much they compress.

My experience is a bad ball joint will usually cause that creak when entering a driveway. Other things will also do it but ball joints are the #1 cause from my experience.

Give the truck a good lube job… hit every grease fitting you can find. Get a can of silicone lube and hit every rubber bushing you can see. You may get lucky… but it looks like you have non-greasable ball joints so that may be your problem.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Its one of those issues I have had with the truck since I have had it. I want to keep it as long as possible with the original parts but have no problem replacing what I need to

Sorry heres the radius arms. The left side is slowly deteriorating. When I rub it with my finger it starts to crumble off.

I will be making a video of the issue today.
