Rims and Tires
What size rims and tires are you guys rolling around with on your trucks? I just bought a "new to me" 2012 F250, has the stock 17" ugly rims. Im looking to upgrade soon and was wondering mostly what size i can go to without worrying about rubbing as I'm not really looking to lift my truck anytime soon. Post some pics of your wheels!

I'm about to do the same on my '15. I have the snow plow prep package, so it sits pretty level already. 4X4 shop by me said I can fit 35's and recommended I go to 295-60-R20's to keep the E rating. We didn't get to discussing rims, so I don't know what his recommendation will be for backspace/offset or width. I'm guessing he's going to say 20 X 9 with a 5-6" backspace.
I'm going to be speaking to him again this weekend so I'll share his recommendations after that.

295 is not a tire size. It's a tire width. Without knowing the wheel diameter and the sidewall height as a percentage of tire width, just the width number on its own isn't helpful.
For example, BAS69 listed 305/55-20 as his tire size. Is that bigger than my tire size of 295/70-18? No, it's not. His come out to be around 33x12 while mine are more like 34x11.5, even though "295 is less than 305."

Well, I just placed my tire order at the 4X4 shop.
I'm getting 20 X 9 wheels with -18 offset and 35 X 12.5 X 20 Nitto Trail Grapplers.
This size / combo was recommended by the shop.
My truck is stock height with Snow Plow Prep springs up front that make it level.
With installation and moving the TPMS from my existing wheels it set me back about $3k.
BTW, these are the wheels I'm getting:

Only $3k? That sounds like a pretty good deal. Make sure to post pics when it's all done! And let us know what if any trimming you need to do, or if it all just fits up nicely as-is.
PS 4x4 trucks don't need to be "leveled" regardless. The idea of a "leveling kit" for 4x4 trucks is a legacy term held over and used on what others in the 4x4 world call a "budget boost" (pucks for the front, spring blocks for the rear). Essentially a mild lift just spacing the existing suspension as "cost-effectively" as possible.

New tires/wheels getting installed next thursday morning so I'll have some pics and info after that.
