Send and return lines are different sizes on these trucks. Making plugs for the fuel lines at the tank isn't that hard, get you hands on a couple OEM engine studs(the type with a nut at the halfway point) and cut the threads off one end leaving a smooth shaft which you will touch up with a file or fine stone so there are no sharp edges. You need one 3/8" and another 5/16" IIRC. Then grind the nut portion a little so that the stock fuel line retaining clip will hold the plug when it's inserted in the fuel line. The two on the left are what I made to delete the rear tank on my old '90.

I deleted the front tank on my '90 in order to run dual exhaust down each side of the truck. What I did was cut the fittings off of the tank and clamped on a short piece of hose to the other end and a short piece of rod in the other. Sounds kinda redneck I know but it has been like this for a while with no issues.

I had some head scratching going on for a few days. I put a battery in it and it didn't turn over cleaned the connections on the battery no change. Crap! Charged battery no go. Huh? Jumped solenoid same thing. At this point I am thinking did I not slide the torque converter back all the way did I some how get a main cap backward. Junk starter. What the heck is it. So that was Saturday and Sunday thoughts then thought about it all day Monday. Then I am at work and it hit me. Hey stupid clean the ground on the block it's a fresh paint job. Got home at 3:45 am went out cleaned the ground hit the key and it turned right over. The starter sounds like Crap but it will work to get it running.

a small vacuum leak I need to find. I will probably have to go with a bigger stall. It will idle but dies when you turn the AC on. I deleted the pollution pump. This is how I made it work with a 91.5 inch belt.
Of course I removed the pump 1st and threw it in the scrap heap
Went and bought a 91 inch belt (too small) then went after a 91.5 inch belt they were out so I took home a 9190k6 1/4 inch longer than 9150k6 belt. And 5 dollars cheaper (too long) gggrrrrrrrrrrrrr. OK I get the 91.5 inch belt still too long gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Then I got to looking at the way the alternator mounts and thought let's space that baby out to take up the slack. I had 2 valve retainers sitting on the shelf next to the truck. I loosened the top bolt removed the bottom bolts and stuck those in the bottom bolts to space that out. Now I have a tight belt. Could I have gotten away with the cheaper belt yeah if I would have spaced all 3 bolts it would have made up the difference in the longer belt. Now to get the time to shoot some pics and show what all has been made or modified
