I ran into a snag with my blower. Since it is raining and I am stuck inside. I got to looking over the blower and the wave washer for the output shaft is missing. Grrr I wanted to have this thing buttoned up and start making a bracket for the alternator.

subscribing as I have been wanting to see a 302 built like this (minus I am not much game for the mustang headers).

There are more choices for mustang headers And I have several sets laying around is the only reason I am using them.

I understand using what you got for me it would be the opposite though I have tons of truck parts and no mustang parts hence why sticking a 351 in our 80 mustang has been so much fun. LOL

Got a pic of his hood?

Right now I just about got the crossmember ready to be modified (I am using the stock 3.3L I6 crossmember) then just got to start modifying the hood to clear my tensioner pulley and truck intake as I don't want to buy an intake. With measurements once everything is sitting in their right I will have a 2-2.5" cowl hood just haven't decided how we are doing it just yet. Then I have to figure out the computer thing. Right now it is just going to be a C4 351W stock mustang till I pull the engine out later to build it up just can't go to much as it is my sister's stang and she wants to stay 4 lug (don't ask me why).

This is the old hood before the blower but with the dominator carb and breather. His new hood is bigger.

Ford 7.5" rear end? Sorry to hijack your thread I know nearly nothing about cars (especially stangs) I grew up working on trucks so when it comes to cars (especially because I am use to 4x4s) I get scared of some of the parts. I had a BII I came really close to breaking the rear end in (ford 7.5").

I was thinking of building it to the 350-400 hp range it is going to be a daily so don't want drag power. Hopefully when I get my 66 galaxie it will be 450-500 hp big block.

Ohh the 7.5 no it wont live long. But the 8.8 with a set of aftermarket axles a bearing support cover and welded tubes are indestructible

Ya I didn't exactly start with the best car but considering I got the car for free with an overall great body I can't complain much.

I might be getting a ford 8.8" rear to put in it only thing is when I put it in it will have what you said plus posi right now the car has an open diff.

The chassis changed very little from 79 to 04. The things they bolted to the chassis changed and the shape of the body hung on it changed but for the most part you can bolt up parts from all over the fox chassis run
