I am revisiting a subject I saw posted back in Dec of last year. I just purchased an F150XLT 4X4 Supercrew. Installed a Galaxy DX959 radio and the RFI is killing me. Have tried a 10 amp inline filter to no avail. Got the part number for the filter Ford sells for the fuel pump and was told it was only applicable up through 96 year models. HELP! Does anyone know if there is a more up to date filter available and where it can be purchased. OR will the F1PZ18B925A filter from Ford also work on a 2003 model truck?

 

I have a 90' and the noise bothers me too. That part might work. A fuel pump is after all a fuel pump. They just work different pressures depending on the engine. If that part won't work, you coul try and put a capacitor between the positive and negative leads on the fuel pump. Hope this helps ya.

Anytime Bearcub. That message in December, I found that part number from a post from well over a year ago. The guy that posted the part number was CobraXP. He might have some more information on it.
