help- Wiring terminals PN needed.
Thanks to Ronpolv on this forum, he was able to help identify the part number for the '78 ignition switch/cylinder connector that I need. The shop that is doing the work told me that they also need the special wiring terminals that go into the connector. Apparently they need to be a specific terminal. Does anyone know the terminal or part number that I need? Here is a picture of the connector. As always, I appreciate your help in this matter.

I'm glad you were able to get a picture of the connector. I have a '78 ignition switch in front of me, and that connector doesn't look like it fits, the outside shape looks different. Maybe you would be better off finding a used underdash harness and taking the connector off of it? It would need to be from a 78 or 79 F or E 100-350. I would also have your shop check the electrical loads that may have been added to that switch, especially the black with blue tracer wire. I don't remember those switches having heating problems (some Ford switches did). Maybe look at shedding those added loads to relay's where the ignition switch just controls the coil current?

Here is the only place I have found that have factory terminals. The biggest problem is the largest size wire these are rated for are 14 gauge.
