56 f100 disc brake questions

I have a question about a disc brake conversion for my 56 f100... I've got the master and booster, disc set up, backing plates and the proportioning valve and the brake peddle thingy... My question is am I going to run into any issues going from the factory master? Do I need to make up new hardline brake lines, or anything strange I'll have to worry about or fix/ run into durring the install?

Make sure you read the instructions for mounting the caliper brackets and pay attention to where you need to drill the new grease zerk location. Also how to install the bolts holding the bracket on. While you have it down I'd replace the Wheel Bearings & Seals.
I doubt the old metal or rubber lines will fit the front of your new system. I'd run all new lines just for safety reasons. Don't mess with cutting & flaring new lines just purchase the closest length lines from your local auto parts store. If they don't have a long enough line get two pieces and buy a union to join the two.
You didn't mention if you have an automatic or manual transmission. There are different pedal assemblies for each.

I have a manual and the brake relocation thing... I have new stainless hoses from the caliper. I'm just going to run new hard line to be safe it makes it easier that way... Good idea with useing just a union but I have the line and a hydraulic flaring tool to do the trick... Either way there's going to be new lines... Thank you very much!

They are zerk fittings and the more unions you use the more places for leaks. If you have the tools get the longest lines possible and use less unions.
