92 f150 300 straight 6 exhaust
I just got a Flowmaster super 44 for 92 f150 with a 300 straight 6. It sounded good at first when it just dumped out at the muffler, but now that I've put the rest of the piping on its gotten much quiter.
Would it be because it's all 2 1/4" pipe and if it is could I get the rumble back by upping my pipe diameter?

If you want it louder just run the full length pipe with no muffler. It's only going to be so loud with the cat in place.
I ran a Hooker Aero-Chamber muffler with a tail pipe that exited right in front of the rear tire on my old 86 F150. The Aero-Chamber muffler is a straight through design and it was pretty quiet unless you really got on it. Even then it wasn't extremely loud.
