Need some ideas people.......either that or I am just gonna go back to a spring and a fall one.

We can start to plan a fall camping one, we haven't seen Pat and Sheryl get all wet and muddy in a long time.....

As much as I like GTG's, it seems like it is becoming a pain for some. We all have schedules, and families, and stuff to do. I don't want GTG's to become like a bowling league. It's hard to structure an internet group... I dunno. Maybe GTG's should be more like, "Hey Jodi and I are going to have a beer with Brandon at Railtown tonight." or "Rich is going to come over and complain about the no leak guard on my grinder on Sunday" or "Chad is going to do smokey burn outs at eleven" types of things. I dunno. Maybe tone it down to a few a year... monthly seems taxing.

Was mainly doing just that. was trying to coordinate with what things were going in different areas. Like me going to dream cruise in august.....

But it's also nice to get other input from members. The nice thing about us on the west side is we are fairly close logistically and get gather often. Which is really cool.

Have tried the "hey I'm going to be here" a few different times. Always turns out with the same peoples.....

I'd enjoy getting together more than twice a year, but some summer months I can see things not working out.
I really enjoyed our whiskey creek outing, would like to do that again this year, weather it's June or September again.

And just to jump ahead a bit, Rich you had mentioned a charity orv outing in Otsego Aug 22nd I believe. I did leave this date open, I'm interested in going to that, most likely as a camping weekend for us. Would like some campground input from the westsiders.

I am game for the Otsego one as I can get the truck out. I need to get up to silver at least once so that I can warrant the engine swap in my head.

We will be there in August. It's a pretty cool Charity event, even if I don't take the Bronco through the tight trails.

I was mostly hoping to get more input from some of the newer members and ideas of stuff. I have said it many times that anyone can start a GTG based on whatever you are doing at the time. g

I just don't want it to get stale. I totally understand having stuff planned and being busy. Just trying to get more to come out. The rest of the group has no clue how much fun we actually have together.....

I really would like to do a GTG around here, but I need to get this house thing straightened out first. Then I can concentrate on my truck issues so I can drive it long distance.

Sounds like our August event is set.....
Even every other month would be fine. Perhaps start a GTG planning thread for people to throw event ideas dates farther out? Once something firms up graduate it to its own thread?

I like that idea Chad.

I haven't touched the truck. It's drive able. Just saving pennies right now for the house. Just wasted $1400 with a no talent a $$ clown for a draftsman.

I'm going to officially recommend this place for June.
Block Brewing Company
Been there a few times now, good food and "beverage". Easy access right off 96 with a roomy parking lot for group photos.
