"Widowmakers" Firestone RH-5

First thought. The young man is a new member, and presents his questions intelligently on the forum that he thought best fit his truck. The first reply he got did not welcome him, did not try to help, simply chased him away to a different group. "Please don't clutter our forum for cute little trucks with your bigger truck" is the message I got, and you're comment essentially confirms that viewpoint. We'll just have to remain in disagreement on whether that's appropriate.
Second thought, there are several of us that watch the various era forums and can help to the extent possible, or suggest where to find added info. Which I think was done in this instance. Naturally wheel issues are my specialty so I watch for these issues, but there have been times when you've been off-line when I have dug into my 57-63 books to try to help somebody. No question though, not to your skill level. Stu

Stu, this new member didn't know what year his truck was, until I mentioned that the left hood side emblem I spotted in one of his pics was 1961/62 related.
'Course the hood is the same 1961/66 F/M100/700, so it might have been swapped.
OP has not posted a pic of the engine or said if it was an I-6 or V8. Hasn't posted a pic of the grille either.
OP posted the VIN and Rating Plate pics, but I cannot decode the info, as it's 1961/64 Canadian related. Plus, the pics were so blurry I could barely make them out.
I asked the OP to type the codes from another plate he posted a blurry pic of (see parts catalog pic below), because once I know, I can ID the truck. But he hasn't done so.
Pic: This plate was used on all 1961/65 Ford/Merc trucks assembled in Canada.
