Another Build In The Books
I got the '73 wrapped up this weekend. It still needs a few small odds and ends buttoned up, but for the most part, it's done. It's going to get a color sand and buff this week, then it's getting sent to the auction next weekend.

Do not burn yourself out...I still have some projects to get in the long line of "projects" you have. lol
Looks very awesome, great job on it, like always. X3 on best of luck at the auction. What am I saying, you do not need luck, cause you have a sharp truck!
I am a poet and didn't know it. lol

The Market is Improving
Alan,
Just keep doing the good work you are doing and you will see an improvement in the market for well-done trucks. Everywhere I stop for gas... which is pretty much everywhere... I get asked to sell my truck. Of course, money talks but, it's still a good boost to see the interest increasing in the bumps and dents.
The truck turned out great. Keep it up!

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!
I took $100 less than I said I was going to, but now I don't have to deal with every Tom, Dick and Harry trying to beat me up on the price. It bid to $5,600. The buyer will pay $6,050 after buyer premiums and I walk out with $5,400 in my pocket after the commission.
Now I have the money to buy the axles and steel to build EQ IV!

It was THE ONLY dent there. There were actually more Triumph TR3As there than dents!
One funny thing that happened. Most of the guys that move the vehicles around are older, but they had one kid working there, too. He jumped in the truck to move it up and thought something was wrong with the shifter on the column. I laughed then told him, "It's not an automatic. It's a three on the tree!" He looked confused until one of the old guys came over and showed him where first gear was!
